I have received notice from Senator Dooley that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to examine the feasibility study for the construction of a river crossing at Killaloe, County Clare, and an associated bypass of Killaloe.

I have also received notice from Senator Browne of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to indicate the progress being made on two applications to her Department from Scoil Naoimh Molaise, Old Leighlin, County Carlow — the permanent accommodation scheme 2007 and an application for grant aid for major works.

I have also received notice from Senator Kitt of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to indicate if there are proposals to have generic drugs available in Ireland similar to other European countries.

I have also received notice from Senator Wilson of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to make a statement on the future of the Tanagh outdoor education centre, Dartrey, Rockcorry, County Monaghan.

I have also received notice from Senator Bannon of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs to provide an up date on the current status of the application made by MacEoin Park residents' association, Longford, for funding under the programme of grants for locally-based community and voluntary organisations.

I have also received notice from Senator Ulick Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to rescind her decision to withdraw the home school community liaison scheme at St. Brigid's vocational school, Loughrea, from September 2007 as this will cause serious concern to parents, teachers, the local education liaison committee and community representatives due to its positive impact since establishment.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Dooley, Browne and Kitt and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Wilson, Bannon and Ulick Burke may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
