I have received notice from Senator Finucane that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education an Science to make a statement on St. James's national school in Cappagh, County Limerick, which, under the general allocation model, is to lose out on its allocation of special needs teaching; and to ask, as it will impact on those children with special needs, if she will ensure this does not happen in September 2005.

I have also received notice from Senator Terry of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to report on the timeframe for submitting a planning application to Fingal County Council for the provision of a primary school at Tyrellstown, Dublin 15, on behalf of Educate Together.

I have also received notice from Senator Coonan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline the current status of Nenagh General Hospital in respect of the acute services to be provided in future and proposed changes to services currently available in the accident and emergency unit bearing in mind the fact that the hospital is part of a pilot project to implement the Hanly report proposals and the national task force on medical staffing.

I regard the matters raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
