I have received notice from Senator Leyden that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to make a statement regarding the charging of a public patient with a medical card (details supplied) at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, County Galway, for carrying out a DEXA bone scan on 14 January 2005.

I have also received notice from Senator Finucane of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to outline the current status regarding the extension of the Shannon Estuary water supply scheme to serve the Pallaskenry and Kildimo areas.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
