I have received notice from Senator Bannon that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to make a statement on Cardinal Health's decision to release its option to build a pharmaceutical development facility in Longford.

I have also received notice from Senator Henry of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to inform Seanad Éireann of the number of people with special care needs who are at present in hospital or special care accommodation outside the State; the cost per annum in total of such placements for the past five years; and the plans to promote specialist services for each category.

I have also received notice from Senator Feighan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Social and Family Affairs to outline why a family member who remains at home caring for an elderly parent or relative is disqualified from carer's allowance if they work on their small farm for a few hours a day.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
