The Leader of the Opposition, Senator Brian Hayes, contacted my office and the Seanad Office to say that he is unable to attend and he asked that we convey his apologies to the Minister of State. We are unable to contact the other two Senators involved.

The Seanad adjourned at 6.30 p.m. until 10.30a.m. on Wednesday, 8 October 2003.
