I have received notice from Senator Brian Hayes that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for the Environment and Local Government to clarify when he intends to change the regulations concerning the abolition of the first-time buyer's grant to take account of hardship cases and to deliver on his promise made in September of this year; and the total number of cases where first-time buyers who had obtained pre-approval for the relevant grant but now cannot meet the 13 November deadline because their house has not been built.
I have also received notice from Senator Bannon of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to review the decision to refuse a visitor visa to a person (details supplied) and if he will outline the further requirements his Department might require to make a positive decision in this case.
