The need for the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to confirm if he has had any discussions with An Post, in which he is the main shareholder, regarding the decision to withdraw the services of an auxiliary postman from the Lahardane area, Ballina, County Mayo.

The need for the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to expedite clause K of the State mining lease, to require the lessee, Mogul of Ireland, to remediate a number of mining related sites at Silvermines, Nenagh, County Tipperary.

I regard the matter raised by Senator O'Meara as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. I regret that I have had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Higgins as the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter.
