An Leas-Chathaoirleach:

I have received notice from Senator Mooney that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

An Leas-Chathaoirleach:

The need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to convey to the British Government the concerns of the Irish community in Britain regarding the impact of the proposed changes to the Licensing Act on that community and if he will seek assurances that the new law will not have an adverse effect on Irish cultural activities in the United Kingdom.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach:

I regard the matter raised by the Senator as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business.
