Capital Acquisitions Tax Consolidation Bill 2002: Referral to Standing Joint Committee.

I move:

That, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders–

(a) the Capital Acquisitions Tax Consolidation Bill 2002 be referred to the Standing Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills;

(b) the first meeting of the Committee to consider the Bill be held on Wednesday, 5th February, 2003; and

(c) in the case of the Capital Acquisitions Tax Consolidation Bill 2002–

(i) in accordance with Standing Order 142(3), the following Members be appointed to the Standing Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills for the purpose of considering the aforementioned Bill: Deputies Joan Burton and Michael Finneran,

(ii) it shall be an instruction to the Committee that it has power to group sections together for the purposes of debate and to dispose of more than one section (and any amendments thereto) by one Question, which shall be put from the Chair.
