I have received notice from Senator Leyden that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to outline the Government's position in relation to the utilisation of satellite space allocated to Ireland under international agreement.

I have also received notice from Senator Minihan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Educaiton and Science to indicate if St. Joseph's National School, Glanmire, County Cork will be included in the schools building programme in the 2003 Estimate and the reason for the long delay in progressing the project.

I have also received notice from Senator Kieran Phelan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Arts, Sports and Tourism, in light of the massive increases in insurance premiums on bed and breakfast establishments and other tourism products, to outline the advice he has for the tourism industry.

I have also received notice from Senator O'Meara of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to take necessary measures to secure the 250 jobs at the Miza plant at Roscrea, County Tipperary, formerly known as Antigen, in light of the serious impact on the town of any future job losses.

I have also received notice from Senator Kitt of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to ensure that steps will be taken to ensure that the railway line at Athenry, County Galway would not be dismantled while the mini LTC is being installed.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Leyden, Minihan and Kieran Phelan and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.

Senators O'Meara and Kitt may give notice on another day of the matter they wish to raise.
