Tacaíonn mise agus mo pháirtí leis an moladh seo freisin. I agree with Senator Kathryn Reilly on this recommendation. Fianna Fáil submitted an identical recommendation which is included in this proposal which makes sense. Not to repeat what Senator Kathryn Reilly said, promises were made previously about providing for transparency in the tax system. The Fine Gael Deputy, Deputy Eoghan Murphy, championed it for a number of years, as did many other colleagues. There is nothing to fear from it. I believe it would make the tax system more palatable if people could see the effects of changes on different groups, as outlined in the recommendation. Therefore, my party and I support it.
