While I am sure Senator Thomas Byrne has read the Regling-Watson report, he has obviously forgotten it, like most of the Members on the other side of the House. It was quite clear in stating 70% of the country's financial problems were related directly to the policies of the former Government, to which the Senator was affiliated.
