Arising from the decision of An Bord Pleanála that the Slane bypass and extra bridge over the River Boyne should not be built, I ask the Leader to take up with the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the prospect of a heavy-vehicle ban in that village. In the neighbourhood of this House, the environment has been greatly improved by the diversion of trucks through the port tunnel and the M50.
