Maurice Cummins (Fine Gael)

The Bill represents a good step forward in revising and in some instances reforming the structures of the Garda Síochána. Given that it is over 80 years since the force was put on a statutory footing, the Bill is long overdue. I have a few concerns about the Bill which I hope the Minister will address as well as those raised by my colleagues.
