When is it envisaged that the heritage functions of Dúchas, within the Department of the Environment and Local Government, will be dealt with? The Government decided that the functions of Dúchas would be transferred to that Department but it is envisaged in a major review conducted by the Minister, Deputy Cullen, that built and natural heritage functions will be split. I assume that the built heritage will be the responsibility of the Office of Public Works, as was formerly the case, and that the natural heritage will be the responsibility of Dúchas. Will Dúchas remain part of the Department of the Environment and Local Government? Will the word "heritage" be included in the name of the Department? Will the Leader arrange for the Minister to come to the House to address these matters and enlighten Senators?
