I wish to advise that I have received a message from the President stating that, pursuant to Article 26 of the Constitution and after consultation with the Council of State, he has referred sections 9, 10, 39, 40(2), 42, 43, 45, 46, 47, 51, 57 and 58 of the Judicial Appointments Commission Bill 2022 to the Supreme Court for a decision on the question as to whether the said sections of the Bill are repugnant to the Constitution or any provisions thereof.
