It is proposed, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders or the Orders of the Dáil of yesterday, that a motion re approval of nomination by An Taoiseach of a member of the Government shall take place immediately following Leaders' Questions today, the proceedings on the motion shall conclude within 40 minutes, speeches shall be confined to a single round of five minutes each by An Taoiseach and the leader of each Opposition party or group or a Member nominated in his or her stead, and all Members may share time; that Questions on Promised Legislation shall take place immediately on the conclusion of proceedings on the motion; and that Private Members’ business shall be taken for two hours at 9 p.m. or on the conclusion of the debate on Second Stage of the National Oil Reserves Agency (Amendment) and Provisions of Central Treasury Services Bill 2020, whichever is the earlier.
