I ask Members to take their designated seats. We await the arrival of the Taoiseach and the members of the new Government, who will be joining us imminently.

I call on the Government Chief Whip, Deputy Dara Calleary, to propose the arrangements for this evening's business.

It is proposed, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders that in respect of the motion regarding the approval of the nomination of members of the Government, the proceedings in the motion should be brought to a conclusion after one hour and 40 minutes; speeches shall be confined to a single round with ten minutes for each party or group; or members may share time, and the Dáil shall adjourn on the conclusion of the proceedings.
