I wish on my behalf and on behalf of the Members of Dáil Éireann to offer a céad míle fáilte, a most sincere welcome, to a delegation from the Californian State Senate led by Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson and comprising Senators Ben Allen, Andreas Borgeas, Steven Glazer and various officials. Our distinguished visitors are here for a short visit that will include meetings with the Oireachtas committees on climate change and justice. I had the personal pleasure of having a brief discussion with them earlier.

They are all most sincerely welcome to Leinster House. We are delighted to have them with us. I hope their visit will be to our mutual benefit.
