I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 29A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy John Brassil - to ask the Minister for Health if he will discuss the reduction in services at University Hospital Kerry, his views on the lack of consultation with GPs and consultants regarding decision-making at the hospital and if he will make a statement on the matter; (2) Deputies Eoin Ó Broin, Gino Kenny and John Curran - to discuss the cut to funding of the Get Ahead Club school service in Clondalkin; (3) Deputies James Browne, Robert Troy and Fiona O'Loughlin - to discuss the waiting lists for home care supports in Wexford, Kildare and Longford-Westmeath; (4) Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh - to discuss the extortion racket by criminal gangs attacking building sites in the State; (5) Deputies Thomas Byrne and Ruth Coppinger - to discuss the cuts in the education capital budget; (6) Deputy Catherine Murphy - to discuss delays relating to housing assistance payments and the impact upon potential tenants and landlords; (7) Deputy David Cullinane - to discuss the admission of children to the adult mental health unit at University Hospital Waterford; (8) Deputies Seamus Healy, Mattie McGrath and Jackie Cahill - to discuss a coursing licence required to enable the national coursing meeting 2020 to take place in Clonmel; (9) Deputy Kathleen Funchion - to discuss the establishment of an Oireachtas committee for developing an autism strategy; (10) Deputies Paul Murphy and Joan Collins - to discuss the conviction and imprisonment for up to 13 years of Catalan political leaders and other political prisoners; ;(11) Deputy Frank O'Rourke - to discuss the advancement of housing development at Hazelhatch in Celbridge, (12) Deputy Michael McGrath - to ask the Minister for Justice and Equality if he will discuss with the Garda Commissioner the allocation of Garda resources to the Cork city Garda division and if he will make a statement on the matter; (13) Deputy Bernard J. Durkan - to discuss relief road proposals to alleviate traffic congestion in Maynooth, County Kildare; (14) Deputy Mary Butler - to discuss diabetes services at University Hospital Waterford; (15) Deputies Anne Rabbitte and Michael Fitzmaurice - to ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in light of the new beef task force meeting not going ahead yesterday on 14 October 2019, to clarify the timeline for reconvening this meeting; (16) Deputy Timmy Dooley - the need to support the community affected by Moneypoint with the just transition fund; (17) Deputy Brian Stanley - to ask the Minister for Health if he will restore the disability training allowance for new entrants and if he will make a statement on the matter; (18) Deputy Mick Barry - the ongoing strike at the Delfin English language school and the need for regulation in the English language school sector; and (19) Deputy Margaret Murphy O'Mahony - to ask the Minister for Transport; Tourism and Sport if he will advise when a review of the situation pertaining to boat trips to the Fastnet Rock lighthouse via Cape Clear will take place in view of the fact that: the fast ferry has been denied a licence which would allow it to travel all the way to the lighthouse; it may only travel to within 500 m of the lighthouse; and this is a huge tourist attraction and it would be a major loss to the Island, not to mention the positive experience afforded to tourists.
