It is proposed notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders that the Dáil shall take No. 32a, statements on Tuam mother and baby home, immediately after proceedings on the statements on the disclosures tribunal report (Charleton report) today. The statements will be brought to a conclusion after 85 minutes, if not previously concluded. The statements shall be confined to a single round by a Minister or Minister of State and the main spokespersons for parties and groups or a Member nominated in their stead of ten minutes each with a five minute response from a Minister or Minister of State. All Members may share time and Topical Issues debate shall be taken on the conclusion of the statements or at 5 p.m., whichever is the later. The Dáil on its rising today shall adjourn on the conclusion of the proceedings on Second Stage of the Vulnerable Persons Bill 2015 until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, 6 November 2018.
