I move:
That leave be granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to amend the Industrial Relations (Amendment) Act 2015 so as to allow trade unions access to their members in the workplace for purposes related to the employment of its members or for purposes related to the union's business or both.
The Bill's provisions allow for access to workplaces. It also provides for a representative of a union to obtain consent to enter a workplace. It puts conditions on access to workplaces and it provides for members to have time off from work for union meetings.

Since this is a Private Members' Bill, Second Stage must, under Standing Orders, be taken in Private Members' time.
