Sittings and Business of the Dáil: Motion

I move:

That, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders-

(a) each day this week, there shall be an Order of Business after Leaders' Questions, comprising:(i) The Taoiseach's announcement of the order in which Government business is to be taken;

(ii) pursuant to Standing Order 27E(7), the Taoiseach's proposals, on motion made without notice, for the arrangements for the taking of that business, and for the sittings;

(iii) questions on promised business, pursuant to Standing Order 28(3);(b) the Order of Business shall not exceed 30 minutes today and tomorrow, and 20 minutes on Thursday;

(c) the Order of Business shall be followed tomorrow by Questions to the Taoiseach, and on Thursday, by Government business, up to 2.45 p.m.;

(d) the weekly division time on Thursday shall take place at 2.45 p.m.; and

(e) there shall be no Bill or Committee report considered following topical issues on Thursday."
