Yesterday, the Government assigned Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin to be Minister of State at the Department of Health with special responsibility for drugs strategy. This is in addition to his existing responsibilities as Minister of State at the Departments of Justice and Equality and Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht with special responsibility for new communities, culture and equality.
