I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Ciara Conway - the need for more balanced Health Service Executive support for voluntary hospice and palliative care providers; (2) Deputy Paul J. Connaughton - the need to reverse the cuts in funding to Ability West and the Brothers of Charity Services in County Galway; (3) Deputies Anthony Lawlor, Catherine Murphy and Martin Heydon - staffing issues at Naas General Hospital; (4) Deputy Tom Fleming - the need to restore the grant reduction to the Kerry Parents and Friends Association; (5) Deputy Terence Flanagan - the processing of medical card applications in the primary care reimbursement service; (6) Deputy Michelle Mulherin - the need to introduce a housing grant scheme to assist householders who are residing in areas identified as at risk of flooding; (7) Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin - the need to extend or remove the 20-day timeframe for the return of applications and support documentation to Judge Maureen Harding Clarke regarding the redress scheme for symphysiotomy survivors; (8) Deputy Noel Harrington - the need to maintain the present status of the Bantry youth café; (9) Deputy Denis Naughten - the need to review the care and admission policy of acute psychiatric patients; (10) Deputy Colm Keaveney - the way in which the Health Service Executive recruits psychologists; (11) Deputy Michael McGrath - the loss of routes and reduction of services at Cork Airport; (12) Deputy Mattie McGrath - the need to realign a series of dangerous bends on the R498 at Latteragh, County Tipperary; (13) Deputy Seán Crowe - the need to discuss the proposed symphysiotomy redress scheme; (14) Deputy Seamus Kirk - farm safety initiatives; (15) Deputy Michael P. Kitt - the increasing levels of homelessness in the country, in particular in Dublin; (16) Deputy Eoghan Murphy - the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland's interpretation of the BAI's code of fairness, objectivity and impartiality in news and current affairs; (17) Deputy Gerry Adams - the need to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights for the reopening of the 1970s case alleging torture by the British Government against the so-called hooded men; (18) Deputy Michael McCarthy - the Skibbereen flood relief scheme; (19) Deputy Michael Moynihan - the concerns surrounding the Regin malware; (20) Deputy Derek Keating - the need to increase rent supplement payments for those vulnerable and most at risk of homelessness; (21) Deputy Pat Deering - the need for signs on the M9 and other tourist services and facilities at St. Mullin's in County Carlow; (22) Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh - the progress made to make EpiPens more available and to increase public awareness; (23) Deputy Seán Kenny - the situation at Cappagh Hospital regarding the opening of operating theatres; (24) Deputy Clare Daly - the appointment of the head of the new policing authority; (25) Deputy Mick Wallace - the appointment of the head of the new policing authority; (26) Deputy Róisín Shortall - the need to update regulations under the misuse of drugs legislation to curb the open street trading of benzodiazepines and Z-drugs; (27) Deputy Brian Stanley - the need to support autism services in County Laois; (28) Deputy Timmy Dooley - the implications of a court case over alleged breaches of child care regulations being struck out in the Dublin District Court; (29) Deputy Dessie Ellis - the need for additional support for homeless and rough sleepers during the Christmas period; (30) Deputy Michael Creed - the delay in the disadvantaged area and single farm payments to farmers; (31) Deputy Niall Collins - the continual illegal drug use in Dublin city; (32) Deputy Billy Kelleher - the continual increase in hospital waiting lists; (33) Deputy Jonathan O'Brien - cutbacks to services at Cork Airport; (34) Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl - the need for the officially agreed terms and conditions for future fixed period promotions for the members of the 9th potential officer class to be adhered to; (35) Deputy Sean Fleming - the need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on reports that the HSE has increased the number of executives recruited over the past three years; (36) Deputy Joe Higgins - the cost of installing water meters increasing by €100 million from the original estimates; (37) Deputy Ruth Coppinger - the cost of installing water meters increasing by €100 million from the original estimates; (38) Deputy Paul Murphy - the cost of installing water meters increasing by €100 million from the original estimates; and (39) Deputy Willie O'Dea - the criteria for carers allowance for those who care for severely autistic children.

The matters raised by Deputy Ciara Conway, Deputy Paul J. Connaughton, Deputies Anthony Lawlor, Catherine Murphy and Martin Heydon, and Deputy Michelle Mulherin have been selected for discussion.
