I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Maureen O'Sullivan - the proposed interview process for the Magdalen restorative scheme; (2) Deputy Sean Fleming - the funding of the school meals local project scheme at Scoil Bhríde, Portlaoise, County Laois; (3) Deputy Terence Flanagan - the processing of medical card applications in the primary care reimbursement service; (4) Deputy Róisín Shortall - the need to update regulations under the misuse of drugs legislation to curb the open street trading of benzodiazepines and Z-drugs; (5) Deputy Anthony Lawlor - staffing issues at Naas General Hospital; (6) Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn - the need to restore the free bus pass allowance for elderly and disabled citizens on the bus route from Buncrana, County Donegal, to Derry city; (7) Deputies John Perry and Michael Colreavy - the financial difficulties of Sligo County Council; (8) Deputy Ciara Conway - the need for more balanced Health Service Executive support for voluntary hospice and palliative care providers; (9) Deputy Dara Calleary - the need for extra resources to be given to the State Laboratory in order to expedite its investigations into alleged petrol stretching incidents; (10) Deputy Mattie McGrath - the need for the Government to make prematurity and neonatal health a national health care and welfare policy priority in recognition of World Prematurity Day on Monday, 17 November 2014; (11) Deputy Lucinda Creighton - the need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to intervene immediately to ensure an equitable solution to the ongoing Irish Airlines Superannuation Scheme dispute; (12) Deputy Niall Collins - the need for the Minister for Justice and Equality to discuss the Garda Inspectorate report regarding crime statistics; (13) Deputy Martin Ferris - the cuts to funding to Kerry Parents and Friends; (14) Deputy Michelle Mulherin - the need to introduce a housing grant scheme to assist householders who are residing in areas identified as being at risk of flooding; (15) Deputy Denis Naughten - the need for the Minister for Health to outline the long-term plans for Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe and Roscommon County Hospital in light of the revelation that hospital management has commenced a plan to amalgamate both hospitals, which could undermine the range of emergency and planned services available at both hospitals; (16) Deputy Michael McNamara - abuses of An Bord Bia's quality assurance scheme; (17) Deputy Thomas Pringle - the need to provide fixed-line broadband on Aranmore Island, County Donegal, under the national broadband plan; (18) Deputy Timmy Dooley - the need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to discuss the developing financial crisis at Irish Rail; (19) Deputy Patrick O'Donovan - the urgent need for the recommendations of the Internet Content Governance Advisory Group report to be implemented immediately, given the recent reports of alleged cyberbullying in respect of victims of sexual violence; (20) Deputy David Stanton - the need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to debate the operation of Private Residential Tenancies Board; (21) Deputy Martin Heydon - staffing issues at Naas General Hospital; (22) Deputy Thomas P. Broughan - the urgent need for the Minister for Health to review the methadone treatment scheme in light of the increasing number of people receiving methadone as an opioid substitute treatment, the length of time citizens with addiction problems spend in this treatment scheme, and the need for a drastic improvement in the number of direct rehabilitative programmes, particularly residential detoxification programmes, available to citizens who have severe addictions problems; (23) Deputy Joe Costello - the need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to ensure that there is no reduction in SICAP funding for the north inner city in 2015; (24) Deputy Emmet Stagg - the severe staff shortages at Naas General Hospital, where patient safety is being compromised; (25) Deputy Brian Stanley - the need to support autism services in County Laois; (26) Deputy Charlie McConalogue - the latest developments with regard to junior cycle reforms; (27) Deputy Colm Keaveney - the need for the HSE to stop recruiting psychologists in a manner that has been found to be in breach of relevant codes of practice and contrary to the recommendations of the Commission for Public Service Appointments; (28) Deputy Billy Kelleher - the need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on reports that more than half of State-run nursing homes risk sanctions up to and including closure unless the Government upgrades them urgently; (29) Deputy Clare Daly - the appointment of the head of the new policing authority; (30) Deputy Ruth Coppinger - the doubling of homelessness figures in Dublin; (31) Deputy Mick Wallace - the appointment of the head of the Revenue Commissioners as chair of the new policing authority; (32) Deputy Brendan Smith - the need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to ensure that all appropriate measures are implemented without delay to protect the poultry industry due to the recent incidence of H5 bird flu in Britain and Holland; (33) Deputy Robert Troy - the need for the Minister for Justice and Equality to discuss the issue of petrol stretching; and (34) Deputy Dessie Ellis - the status of deferred members of the Irish Airlines Superannuation Scheme after the commencement of the State Airports Act 2014.

The matters raised by Deputies John Perry and Michael Colreavy, Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn, Deputy Ciara Conway and Deputy Dara Calleary have been selected for discussion.
