I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Peadar Tóibín - the need to include the proposed North-South 400 kV interconnector in the terms of reference of the recently announced commission; (2) Deputy Paudie Coffey - the position on the South East Economic Forum; (3) Deputy Billy Timmins - the need to recognise the role of Irish emigrants in the American Civil War; (4) Deputy Terence Flanagan - the need for electronic accessibility ramps to be provided on DART trains; (5) Deputy Pat Breen - the future of a community owned and run radio station in County Clare; (6) Deputy Michael McNamara - the threat to beef farming posed by factory prices; (7) Deputy Timmy Dooley - the need to provide funding for the upgrade of Kilrush marina, County Clare; (8) Deputy Denis Naughten - the accuracy of the data being collected from Irish hospitals on their mortality rates and the implications for patient safety; (9) Deputy Jonathan O'Brien - the potential closure of Scoil Mhuire Fatima, the North Monastery, Cork; (10) Deputy Lucinda Creighton - the accuracy of the data being collected from Irish hospitals on their mortality rates and the implications for patient safety; (11) Deputy Noel Harrington - the assistance available to fishermen who have been unable to undertake any sea fishing owing to the adverse weather conditions; (12) Deputy Pat Deering - the closure of the Kepak sheep processing facility in Hacketstown, County Carlow; (13) Deputy Dessie Ellis - to discuss the need for Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government support with Gallery Quay in the Dublin docklands where considerable costs are likely to be incurred by Túath Housing in the refurbishment of properties owing to the poor quality of building work; (14) Deputy Billy Kelleher - the need for the Minister for Health to clarify the Government's intentions with regard to charges for GP care for the under-sixes; (15) Deputy Clare Daly - to discuss the potential use of the Air Corps during the planned industrial action at the airport over the pension deficit; (16) Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett - the need to establish an accurate figure for Ireland's corporate tax rate; (17) Deputy Mick Wallace - to discuss the situation of a woman in Wexford who is homeless as a result of a fire and unable to find new accommodation; (18) Deputies Dara Calleary and John O'Mahony - the future of Mayo maternity unit at Mayo General Hospital; (19) Deputy Barry Cowen - to ask the Minister for Communications to discuss pay-offs to Bord Gáis workers following the sell-off of parts of the semi-State company; (20) Deputy Colm Keaveney - the need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the annual report of the child and adolescent mental health services; and (21) Deputy Áine Collins - to ask the Minister for Communication, Energy and Natural Resources to ensure ESB Networks, when expanding services to include broadband, does so on a universal basis in order that rural areas can benefit from a proper broadband service, bearing in mind that the cost of getting broadband in rural areas to date has been quite prohibitive for commercial operators; and to ensure the ESB, being a nationally owned enterprise, will provide a universal broadband solution.

The matters raised by Deputies Deputy Peadar Tóibín, Noel Harrington, Michael McNamara and Dara Calleary and John O'Mahony have been selected for discussion.
