I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Willie Penrose - the need to ensure that industrial action by agricultural officers does not proceed; (2) Deputy Brendan Griffin - the need to guarantee the progression of the Shannon LNG project; (3) Deputy Patrick Nulty - the changes for the eligibility for new applications for housing adaptation grants and housing aid supports; (4) Deputy Thomas P. Broughan - the position on the offshore renewable energy development plan; (5) Deputies Éamon Ó Cuív, Clare Daly, Richard Boyd Barrett and Mick Wallace - the continuing detention in prison of a 79 year old woman who is suffering from a debilitating illness; (6) Deputy Colm Keaveney - the need to address the deep concerns surrounding the closure of beds in St. Brigid's Hospital, Ballinasloe, County Galway; (7) Deputy Robert Troy - the need for the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs to act to address issues that have arisen with regard to the sharing of Garda vetting information between child care providers and training providers; (8) Deputy James Bannon - the urgent need to establish a River Shannon Authority; (9) Deputy Finian McGrath - the emergence of new evidence on the Stardust fire tragedy; (10) Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin - the order allowing for emergency helicopter landings in an estate adjacent to Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9; (11) Deputy Dessie Ellis - the need to supply GPS enabled beacons for sufferers of dementia and similar disorders; and (12) Deputy Barry Cowen - to ask the Minister with responsibility for housing to discuss the rise in social housing waiting lists.

The matters raised by Deputy James Bannon, Deputy Brendan Griffin, Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin and Deputies Éamon Ó Cuív, Clare Daly, Mick Wallace and Richard Boyd Barrett have been selected for discussion.
