I move:
That leave be granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to afford statutory recognition to Down's Syndrome as a low incidence disorder, to ensure that adequate provision is made for the resource teaching hours allocated to persons with Down's Syndrome and for that purpose to give statutory effect to a Department of Education and Skills circular on the level of resource teaching hours and to provide for related matters.

Since this is a Private Members' Bill, Second Stage must, under Standing Orders, be taken in Private Members' time.
