Consumer Credit (Amendment) Bill 2012: First Stage

I move:

That leave be granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to amend the Consumer Credit Act 1995.

The Bill seeks to place a cap on interest rates charged by licensed moneylenders approved in the State.
