I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Jim Daly - the need for an emergency fund for uninsured victims of recent flooding; (2) Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív - the need for CIÉ and Iarnród Éireann to protect their property rights and encroachment onto their property in order to facilitate the development of disused railway lines; (3) Deputy Michelle Mulherin - the need to make provision for two intermediate care teams in north and south Mayo to allow for better use of acute hospital resources; (4) Deputy Willie Penrose - media mergers which are predicated upon the recommendations of the advisory group on media mergers; (5) Deputy Peadar Tóibín - recent proposals regarding the accident and emergency services at Navan Hospital; (6) Deputy Joan Collins - a separate cystic fibrosis hospital building on the grounds of St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin; (7) Deputies Simon Harris, Robert Troy, Maureen O'Sullivan and Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin - the need for an update on the status of the €35 million committed in the budget for community mental health services, the appointment of a director for mental health and the ring-fencing of staff for community mental health teams; (8) Deputy Tony McLoughlin - the need for urgent action by the Government to address the high unemployment levels in County Leitrim and the need for an IDA Ireland-backed project for Carrick-on-Shannon; (9) Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl - to ask the Minister for Health if he will reassure users that services will be maintained and the future of Moore Abbey, Monasterevin, County Kildare, is secure despite a reported €1.1 million deficit, and if he will take steps to ensure that it will be urgently repaid €650,000 in grace-period lump-sum payments from the HSE; (10) Deputies Jerry Buttimer and Michael McGrath - assistance available and future preventative measures following recent flooding in Cork; (11) Deputy Michael Conaghan - the growing problem of street crime in Dublin city centre, particularly at night; (12) Deputy Olivia Mitchell - the role of GPS jammers in the increasing number of burglaries and the need to reconsider Statutory Instrument No. 307 - Firearms (Secure Accommodation) Regulations 2009 - which lays down the sole recommended standard for monitored alarms; (13) Deputy Kevin Humphreys - the need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to address the ongoing issue of flooding from heavy rainfall in the Dublin area due to poor drainage; (14) Deputy Clare Daly - the industrial dispute between the catering company SSP and bar workers at Dublin Airport's terminal 1 whom it wants to make redundant; (15) Deputy Joe Higgins - the industrial dispute between the catering company SSP and bar workers at Dublin Airport's terminal 1 whom it wants to make redundant; (16) Deputy John Lyons - the case of the former employees of the Fáilte Bar in Dublin Airport since the bar was closed and then reopened under a new name; (17) Deputy Niall Collins - to ask the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to discuss the rise in charges for Greyhound Waste and associated waste issues in Dublin; (18) Deputy Michael Moynihan - to ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to discuss departmental inspections in light of adverse weather conditions during the past month; (19) Deputy Dara Calleary - to ask the Minister for Justice and Equality to discuss efforts to curb violent assaults on our cities' streets; (20) Deputy Mattie McGrath - the cost associated with and the saga relating to the e-voting machine fiasco and the need for lessons to be learned as a result; (21) Deputy Tom Hayes - planning restrictions relating to Emly national school, County Tipperary; (22) Deputy James Bannon - the need to provide adequate funding to St. Christopher's Services, Longford; and (23) Deputy Derek Keating - the need to address the problem of those who still drive on learner permits despite not being accompanied by qualified drivers and who continue to be issued with such permits in subsequent years.

The matters raised by Deputies Willie Penrose, Jerry Buttimer and Michael McGrath, Tom Hayes and Peadar Tóibín have been selected for discussion.
