That Dáil Éireann approves in accordance with Article 29.5.2 of Bunreacht na hÉireann, the ratification by Ireland of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters (commonly referred to as the Aarhus Convention), as signed by Ireland on 25 June 1998, the Protocol to the Aarhus Convention on Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers, as signed by Ireland on 21 May 2003, and the Amendment to the Aarhus Convention on Genetically Modified Organisms, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 31 May 2012.
