I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Patrick O'Donovan - the future participation in referendums and elections of Irish citizens who are overseas; (2) Deputy Michael Healy-Rae - the establishment of the board of Irish Water; (3) Deputy Barry Cowen - the decision by Bord na Móna workers to take industrial action over a national pay agreement; (4) Deputy Ann Phelan - the extension of the review time of 21 days in respect of domiciliary care allowance; (5) Deputies Seán Crowe, Seamus Healy and Mattie McGrath - the loss of eight teaching posts at Presentation primary school, Carrick-on Suir, County Tipperary; (6) Deputy Robert Dowds - the industrial dispute at Eddie Stobart hauliers, Ballymun, Dublin; (7) Deputies Arthur Spring and Eoghan Murphy - the need for the international intervention in Syria; (8) Deputy Michael McCarthy - the steps being taken to ensure the outbreak of a new animal disease in England does not spread here; (9) Deputy Tom Fleming - the need to establish a court of appeal to speed up appeals of the decisions of the High Court to the Supreme Court; (10) Deputy Patrick Nulty - the decision to close 21 beds at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, Dublin; (11) Deputy Derek Keating - the recent HIQA report on Ballydowd special care unit, County Dublin; (12) Deputy Peter Mathews - the need for the Central Bank Governor, Mr. Patrick Honohan, to raise at today's meeting of the Governing Council of the ECB the need for a write-off of the emergency liquidity assistance provided by the Central Bank of Ireland to the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation, IBRC; (13) Deputy Willie Penrose - the rationale for the current review of the domiciliary care allowance; (14) Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett - the proposal to transfer 2,000 residential units from NAMA to local authorities for leasing; (15) Deputy Mary Mitchell O'Connor - the need to legislate for a corporate board quota; (16) Deputy Sean Fleming - the consequences of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland investigation into the Seán Gallagher tweet affair; (17) Deputies Clare Daly and Joan Collins - the arrest of a number of women trade union activists in Turkey who were planning to mark International Women's Day in that country; (18) Deputy Timmy Dooley - the consequences of An Bord Pleanála's decision not to grant permission to the Slane bypass; (19) Deputy John McGuinness - the rise in the numbers of self-employed who are unemployed; and (20) Deputy Dessie Ellis - funding for the completion of the Ballymun regeneration project, Dublin.

The matters raised by Deputies Arthur Spring, Eoghan Murphy, Mary Mitchell O'Connor, Seán Crowe, Seamus Healy, Mattie McGrath and Sean Fleming have been selected for discussion and will be taken now.
