Amendment of Standing Orders: Motion

I move:

That, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders or the Resolutions of the Dáil of 21 July, 2011, and 16 December, 2011, in respect of Standing Order 27A, and until further notice in the 31st Dáil, the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann relative to Public Business are hereby amended as follows:

(a)

In Standing Order 27A, paragraph (4), to delete the following proviso:

'Provided further that the total time allowed for consideration of topical issues on any day shall not exceed 48 minutes.',

and

(b)

In Standing Order 160, paragraphs (1) and (2), to delete '8.30 p.m.' wherever it occurs and substitute '9 p.m.'.
