I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Michael Healy-Rae - the way in which public contracts are tendered; (2) Deputy James Bannon - the need to include the rural transport programme in all public transport subventions; (3) Deputy Joe Costello - the need to introduce measures to prevent the exploitation and forced labour of migrant workers here; (4) Deputy Patrick O'Donovan - the need for legislation to address the problem of the theft of certain expensive metals such as copper; (5) Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív - the need to reassess stocking levels in the Maam Turk and Twelve Bens areas of County Galway; (6) Deputy Seamus Kirk - the need to re-examine the non-principal private residence levy, in particular for home owners who are in financial difficulty; (7) Deputy Pearse Doherty - the need to appoint a dedicated paediatric diabetes nurse to Letterkenny General Hospital, County Donegal; (8) Deputy Dessie Ellis - the closure of Garda stations, in particular the future of Whitehall Garda station, Dublin 9; (9) Deputy Mattie McGrath - the need for legislation regarding repossessions, specifically, the repossession of plant and machinery; (10) Deputy Dan Neville - the use of minor tranquilisers in intentional self-harm and attempted suicides; (11) Deputy Billy Timmins - the need to protect the corporation tax rate here and our consolidated tax base policies; and (12) Deputy Brendan Smith - the management of guidance provision within the existing pupil-teacher ratio in post-primary schools following budget 2012.
