It is a great pleasure for me to welcome Deputy Patrick Nulty to the Chamber. This is a great day for him personally and his family who are in the Distinguished Visitors Gallery. I wish him every success and many years of happiness here.

I remember attending here having won a by-election in the 1970s and some of the older, more experienced Members said to me that standing ovations are few and far between in here. I welcome the Deputy and wish him a long career.
