The motion is not agreed. Is this the Government's greatest priority currently? Is creating a directly elected mayor for Dublin the best it can do? That Fianna Fáil is going along with this Green Party vanity project is outrageous. Fine Gael rejects the motion.

-----on a project that will result in five and a half mayors in Dublin and three separate quangos. The Labour Party gave the House an opportunity this morning to see some sense on this issue. Just before the last vote, Deputy Kennedy was actually supporting a Labour Party motion.
