Before coming to the Order of Business I propose to deal with two notices under Standing Order 32.

I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the urgent need to support proper facilities at the Dublin city mortuary at the O'Brien Institute, Malahide Road, Dublin 3, as promised four years ago, and to end the practice of relatives and people in mourning having to use a portacabin; and to call on the Government and Dublin City Council to make this a priority issue.

I request the adjournment of the Dail under standing Order 32 to discuss an urgent matter of public importance, namely, the closure of a residential bungalow unit at Áras Attracta disability services, Swinford, County Mayo. Áras Attracta was set up 22 years ago and has 116 high-dependency residents, all with different level of disabilities. The unit that is closing was home to ten people with an intellectual disability and is the second such bungalow to be closed at Áras Attracta in the past 14 months. Its closure will lead to overcrowding and a return to the use of bedroom sharing which is a breach of HIQA's standards and regulations. I appeal to the Minister to reverse this decision immediately.

Having considered the matters raised, they are not in order under Standing Order 32.
