I advise the House of the following matters, in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Dan Neville - the increase in the rate of suicide in 2009; (2) Deputy Cyprian Brady - the need to speed up the process of Garda vetting in order that arrangements can be put in place for summer projects; (3) Deputy James Bannon - the need for the Minister for Education and Skills to provide a new community college in Kilbeggan, County Westmeath, or to facilitate the operation of a public private partnership for the project; (4) Deputy Michael D'Arcy - the need to reduce the cost of fingerpost signs; (5) Deputy Seán Fleming - the need to establish a local Departmental of Social Protection office in County Laois; (6) Deputy Paul Connaughton - the important matter of lifting the moratorium on staffing in the public service in the case of private agriculture colleges at Mountbellew, County Galway; Pallaskenry, County Limerick; and Gurteen, County Tipperary, a move which would give them the same access to staff requirements as currently enjoyed by the State-run agriculture colleges; (7) Deputy Joe Costello - the need to ensure funding for Justice for the Forgotten; (8) Deputy Joe Behan - the policy on HIQA registration and inspection fees; and (9) Deputy Seán Sherlock - the need to progress the work necessary to ensure the fish pass at the weir on the River Blackwater at Fermoy, County Cork is in compliance with EU law and takes account of other local activities.

The matters raised by Deputies Joe Behan, Cyprian Brady, Joe Costello and Seán Fleming have been selected for discussion.
