I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Chris Andrews - that there must be transparent and continuous communication with the local communities who will be affected by the construction process of the DART underground which is the most significant piece of rail infrastructure to be constructed under the Government's Transport 21 programme, and will see 7.5km of underground tunnel constructed that will stretch between the Docklands and Inchicore, with stations at Pearse St., Stephen's Green, Christchurch and Heuston - a second, high-capacity DART line which will run underground through the heart of the City Centre; (2) Deputy Thomas P. Broughan - the urgent need for the Tánaiste to respond to the grave concerns in the voluntary, community and local development sector on the future of the jobs initiative and community employment schemes concerning reported changes to the regulations governing these schemes which will prevent many citizens from accessing work and training and will lead to a serious loss of staff in the various services and the need for the Tánaiste to respond positively to the strong representations I have made to her office on the matter; (3) Deputy Shane McEntee - the Minister's plans to ban stag hunting, (4) Deputy Mattie McGrath - An Bord Pleanála's recent decision to refuse planning permission for the Riussuir Development on Clonmel Road, Carrick on Suir, County Tipperary (details supplied); (5) Deputy Michael Ring - flooding problems in Mayo and specifically the report from ecologists on the Roundfort-Hollymount flood mitigation report; (6) Deputy Lucinda Creighton - the commencement notice of the Dublin Waste to Energy Project.
