I move:

That the proposal that Dáil Éireann approves the terms of the Agreement between the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and the Government of Ireland concerning Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters which was signed at the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on 19 September, 2001 copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 1 October, 2009, be referred to the Select Committee on Justice, Equality, Defence and Women's Rights, in accordance with paragraph (1) of the Orders of Reference of that Committee, which, not later than 25 November, 2009, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 87, and Standing Order 86(2) shall accordingly apply.
