I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Bernard Allen - the termination of bus services on certain routes, including Cork-Stuake-Donoughmore and Cork-Glenville, as well as the No. 12 route in Cork city and the northern orbital route which will have a devastating impact on the communities affected; (2) Deputy Paul Connaughton - the current position of the farming sector; (3) Deputy James Bannon - teacher numbers at the convent primary school, Rochfortbridge, County Westmeath from September 2009; (4) Deputy Lucinda Creighton - the urgent need for the Office of Public Works to use the Iveagh Gardens to their full capacity by providing facilities for sports such as football within the gardens to remedy the lack of recreational facilities available to residents of the inner city; (5) Deputy Seymour Crawford - to ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to immediately take steps to ensure that those added to the electoral register in the run up to the next election, whenever that may be, are full-time residents at the stated address and whether he will consider the use of PPS numbers along with proof of address as minimum requirements; (6) Deputy Alan Shatter - the need to construct a replacement school for St. Colmcille's primary school, Knocklyon, Dublin 16 and to permit the school to seek planning permission; (7) Deputy John Perry - the introduction of new bilingual recordings for voice annunciators in lifts and pre-recorded telephone messages in public buildings including Leinster House; (8) Deputy Róisín Shortall - the need to review policing and safety arrangements for major outdoor events in view of the serious concerns expressed by many people who attended the Slane concert at the weekend; (9) Deputy Tom Hayes - the funding of an agriculture support scheme for farmers; (10) Deputy Jimmy Deenihan - the grave security breach that occurred in Sarsfield Barracks, Limerick, last Monday resulting in the theft of training grenades, a weapon and ammunition; and (11) Deputy Dinny McGinley - the serious damage to roads, bridges, businesses and family homes due to flash flooding in the parish of Gweedore, County Donegal, yesterday evening and the urgent need for emergency funding to restore destroyed infrastructural facilities as soon as possible.

The matters raised by Deputies Connaughton, Tom Hayes, Bannon and Shatter have been selected for discussion.
