I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Joe Costello — the provision of permanent accommodation and recognition for Glasnevin Educate Together national school, Dublin 9; (2) Deputy James Bannon — the urgent need for the Minister for Education and Science to provide funding for a new school building for St. Mary's national school, Edgeworthstown, County Longford, and an update on the situation with regard to the loss of essential teaching staff at the school despite rising roll numbers; (3) Deputy Pat Breen — the provision of a sewerage scheme for Doolin and the surrounding areas of County Clare; (4) Deputy Jimmy Deenihan — the effects of the recently announced budget cuts on Scoil Mhuire, Christian Brothers primary school, Tralee, County Kerry; and (5) Deputy Bernard Allen — the job losses caused by the closure of the Beamish and Crawford brewery in Cork.

The matters raised by Deputies Allen, Breen, Costello and Deenihan have been selected for discussion.
