I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy John O'Mahony — the non-payment of the Christmas bonus to those in receipt of jobseekers benefit; (2) Deputy Brian O'Shea — the need to take measures to address the unemployment problem in County Waterford; (3) Deputy James Bannon — the urgent need for the Minister for Education and Science to provide funding for a new school building for St Mary's national school, Edgeworthstown, County Longford; and an up-date on the situation with regard to the loss of essential teaching staff at the school, despite rising roll numbers; (4) Deputy Joe Costello — the provision of permanent accommodation and recognition for Glasnevin Together national school, Dublin 9; (5) Deputies Chris Andrews, Cyprian Brady — the regeneration of inner city Dublin; (6) Deputy Róisín Shortall — the need for the Minister for Social and Family Affairs to include the provision of a needs assessment, medical checks and in-home respite to all family carers as part of the family carer's strategy; (7) Deputy Tom Hayes — the future of services at South Tipperary General Hospital; and (8) Deputy Pat Breen — the delay in advancing the Doolin sewerage scheme in County Clare; the overall infrastructure in the area is very poor and is dependent on the successful completion of this project, and the Minister must act to ensure that the developments works can be commenced at the earliest possible date.
