I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Joe McHugh — the capacity problems in primary schools in Letterkenny, County Donegal, and if the Minister for Education and Science will consider making the town a priority, given its gateway status; (2) Deputy Thomas McEllistrim — the need to establish a special squad in the Garda Síochána to deal with anti-social behaviour and public disorder and introduction on a pilot basis in Tralee; (3) Deputy James Bannon — the need for the Minister for Education and Science to provide an update on the new school building for Loughegar national school, County Westmeath — the original building dates back to 1872 — which has been delayed without any explanation being issued from his Department, bearing in mind that the school now faces the prospect of having to go back to tender on this urgent matter due to the risk of losing the builder, whose tender has been accepted; (4) Deputy Brian Hayes — the need for the Minister for Education and Science to make an early statement on a request, now ten years old, that Our Lady's School, Templeogue Road, Dublin 6W, be given approval by his Department to proceed with its building project, and if he will make a statement on the matter; (5) Deputy Michael McGrath — the need for the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to give urgent priority to dealing with the hazardous waste at the former Irish Ispat site at Haulbowline Island, County Cork, in line with best environmental practice; (6) Deputy Fergus O'Dowd — the review of radiology carried out at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, in 2006; (7) Deputy Kathleen Lynch — the cutback to disability services at the Cork Centre for Independent Living; (8) Deputies Alan Shatter and Jan O'Sullivan — the need to maintain rehabilitative training facilities at the Cheeverstown Day Care Centre, Airton Road, Dublin, in respect of school leavers, intellectually disabled, from Saint Michael's House; and the need to release funding in respect of community services for people with disabilities; (9) Deputy Joe Carey — the progress made by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government on its strategic objective of ensuring the provision of adequate water services in the gateway and hub towns listed in the national spatial strategy such as Ennis, County Clare where services need to be enhanced; (10) Deputy Bernard J. Durkan — the urgent and pressing issue of the cessation of bus services through Kildare by Circle Line transport bus service, formerly Mortons; whether the Minister will negotiate with the company to address this issue at the earliest date for a positive resolution, given the public support for the service, and if he will make a statement on the matter; (11) Deputy Dan Neville — the second report of the independent monitoring group on "A Vision for Change", the report of the expert group on mental health policy.

The matters raised by Deputies O'Dowd, Shatter, O'Sullivan and McEllistrim have been selected for discussion.
