Agreement between the Governments of Ireland and the Republic of Korea: Referral to Select Committee

I move:

That the proposal that Dáil Éireann approves the terms of the Agreement on Social Security between the Government of Ireland and the Government of the Republic of Korea which was signed at Dublin on the 31st October, 2007, and was laid before Dáil Éireann on the 23rd June, 2008, be referred to the Select Committee on Social and Family Affairs, in accordance with paragraph (1) of the Orders of Reference of that Committee, which, not later than 7th October, 2008, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 87, and Standing Order 86(2) shall accordingly apply.
