Multilateral Carbon Credit Fund: Motion

I move:

That the proposal that Dáil Éireann approves the terms of an agreement between Ireland and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on participation in the Multilateral Carbon Credit Fund, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 27 November, be referred to the Select Committee on the Environment and Local Government, in accordance with paragraph (1) of the Orders of Reference of that Committee, which, not later than 30 November 2006, shall send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 85, and Standing Order 84(2) shall accordingly apply.
