I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Walsh — to discuss the unfair burden of VAT on charities; (2) Deputy Ó Caoláin — the need to appoint an oncology liaison nurse at Cavan General Hospital; (3) Deputy Kelleher — the need to amend the Criminal Justice Act 1999 to deal with the mandatory sentencing of people convicted of certain drug offences; and (4) Deputy Cowley — communications problems being experienced by residents in County Mayo.

The matters raised by Deputies Kelleher, Walsh and Ó Caoláin have been selected for discussion.
