Before coming to the Order of Business, I propose to deal with a number of notices under Standing Order 31.

I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of urgent national importance, namely, the future of the employees of the Great Southern Hotels in Killarney and Parknasilla and also the Kerry area accounts officer placed in the Great Southern Hotel in Killarney. There are seven employees in this office from which all the accounts for the Great Southern Hotels in Killarney and Cork are paid. Are the jobs of those employees safe or will there be job losses? At present the assets and paintings are being taken out of the hotel at Parknasilla and removed by lorry and vehicles. I cannot say where they are being taken to but, as an elected representative from Kerry South, I should know if they are being taken for a drive around the Ring of Kerry or for a walk around the grounds of Parknasilla. I appeal to the Ceann Comhairle, to tell me where they are going and what is being done with them. The Taoiseach examined each one of these paintings and has looked at them over many years.

The Ceann Comhairle will surely allow this matter to be raised.

I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of urgent national importance, namely, the need for the Tánaiste and the Health Service Executive to outline the reason Mallow General Hospital has been excluded from the list of accident and emergency services and why some patients in the area will be left two hours from appropriate medical treatment due to the absence of a local 24-hour service at Mallow General Hospital. In view of the importance of the issue, I hope the Ceann Comhairle will agree to my request.

I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of urgent public importance, namely, the Government's shortcomings in the practice of erecting of large replacement mobile phone masts, without planning permission, proliferating additional radiation emitting equipment on such masts, the need for an example of such a new mast erected at Balbriggan Garda station in Fingal, adjacent to houses and a large national school, to be examined under legislation governing planning, health and the prevention of torture, given the sensitivity of some people to such radiation, and the need for amending legislation to be introduced to close any legal loopholes being abused at Balbriggan and elsewhere.

Having considered the matters raised, they are not in order under Standing Order 31.
