I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Ned O'Keeffe — if the Minister will transfer the sugar beet quotas for 2005 from growers in the areas of Laois, Offaly, Kildare, Wicklow, north Kilkenny, Carlow, Louth and Dublin to growers in Munster for 2006; (2) Deputy Broughan — to ask the Minister if he has issued instructions regarding the future development of postal services; (3) Deputy Gilmore — the Minister's views on an attempt by a company (details supplied) to use recently enacted European legislation to extract payments from Irish small business; and (4) Deputy Cowley — if the Minister will ensure fair play for asylum seekers and citizens of Kiltimagh, County Mayo.

The matters raised by Deputies Broughan, Gilmore and Cowley have been selected for discussion.
